Project Description
St. George Parish recently completed a $14,800,000 campaign to build a new church and renovate the existing church to a Pre-K classroom building. To date, over $15,200,000 has been pledged. As a vibrant and growing parish on the South end of Baton Rouge, St. George knew they needed to address their growth and the need to update their aging facilities for worship. The people of St. George responded faithfully to the call and construction has begun on their gorgeous 1,200 seat church. The former church will be renovated to become a Pre-K building, to add another level of Catholic education to St. George’s award winning parochial school, taking the school from Pre-K3 through 8th grade.
