Project Description
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton was built over 30 years ago at a time of booming growth in Fort Collins, Colorado. The multipurpose space served for Mass as well as everything from religious education to pancake breakfasts. As the parish grew, so did the need to serve its young families and in the early 2000s a religious education center and parish hall were built. The current church, intended to be only a temporary space, has undergone significant wear and tear over the years. The cost to repair the underlying structural issues would be as significant as building a new church entirely. After much consultation and prayer, Guidance In Giving was brought on to conduct a feasibility study and determined there was indeed support for a new church. The “Put Out Into the Deep” Campaign started in early 2017 was able to raise over $5.5 million (8 times their offertory!) towards their new church, slated to start construction in 2018.
