The Cathedral Parish of St. Ignatius Loyola in the Diocese of Palm Beach hired Guidance In Giving, Inc. to raise the funds necessary, $5 million, for the construction of a New Parish Family Life Center. The new Parish Family Life Center will increase the quality of parish and family life for their community by providing an open, modern, and welcoming environment. It will also provide critical and more appropriately planned space for current and future ministries to gather, as well as host social events, fundraisers, wedding receptions, and parties. The parish center will also include much needed office space and a technologically up-to-date office for the parish administrative staff. The new building will be 24,000 square feet, two stories tall and also include a much expanded gift shop, meeting facilities, a designated youth room, a Parish Social Ministries (Outreach) facility, and a banquet hall with a stage and a full-service kitchen. This will double their current capacity and provide the Cathedral parish with the space and flexibility they need to serve their parishioners, staff, and numerous diocesan groups and functions. Over $4,700,000 has been raised to date for these efforts.
