Project Description
St. Mary of False River Catholic Church partnered with Guidance In Giving in late 2015 and early 2016 to conduct a $1.5 million Capital Campaign, Remembering Our Past, Building Our Future in order to address urgent repairs to their historic church building. The church is a historic building in New Roads, Louisiana and is a spectacle for visitors to see. The parish was passionate about making these repairs to their beloved church and came together as a community to meet their goal. After a ten-week campaign, St. Mary was able to raise $1.51 million and was able to make plans to start construction soon thereafter.
