“St. Bernadette Catholic Church, a 2,500-family parish near Houston, TX, conducted the Refresh
and Renew Capital Campaign to address several long-term facility and campus needs. The
campaign raised over $3 million in pledges and gifts, achieving 120% of its $2.5 million goal.
With the funds from the campaign, the parish was able to complete the following projects:

  • Education Wing Rebuild (mold damage) – $1.3 million
  • Restroom Upgrades – $220,000
  • Replace Pews and Kneelers – $275,000
  • Sanctuary Flooring and Steps – $125,000
  • Carpeting Across Campus – $51,000
  • Campus Security System – $70,000
  • PLC Chairs – $36,000

Lisa Spence, a parishioner and co-chair of the campaign, shared these remarks about the
Refresh and Renew campaign:
