St. Clare of Assisi, Houston, TX

“St. Clare of Assisi launched the Legacy of Love: Serving the Mission Capital Campaign to address long-standing facility needs and support the parish’s mission of faith and service. After a feasibility study was conducted in the Fall of 2023, town-hall meetings were held at the parish and the campaign launched in the Fall of 2024 with a goal to raise $2.5 million. The campaign was very successful and raised over $2.9 million from 320 families. This represents 24% of the parish and 3.17 times their 2023 offertory giving.

The projects funded by the campaign included building a new administration building and to enhance the church. The total cost of the projects was estimated to be $7 million. The parish used funds from the campaign, savings, and a loan from the archdiocese to begin construction on these projects.”
