St. Joseph, Houston, TX

St. Joseph is a vibrant, young, and multicultural parish located in Houston, TX. The parish launched the Building with Joseph, Building for Jesus campaign to build a new parish hall and new parking lot. After conducting a Feasibility Study in the Spring of 2024 and began the campaign in the Fall of 2024 with the goal set at $2 million. The total cost of the projects was estimated at $5.6 with additional funding coming from parish savings and an archdiocesan loan. A challenge goal of $3 million was set by Father Victor Perez. The campaign was incredibly successful, raising $3.3 million which is 153% of the campaign goal. The campaign received gifts from 252 families, which represents 21% of registered families. The parish was able to raise 3.84x their annual offertory. Groundbreaking for the new parish hall is set for November 30th, 2025.
